In the 21st Century, online therapy has become the most accessible form of therapy and can reach those in all corners of the world. We are happy to offer virtual appointments for individuals who may have transportation barriers, or for whom it may not be feasible to travel for in-person sessions.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with life changes, stress, and painful experiences. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of healing and growing, so that you can once again thrive. We work with all individuals ages 16 and up!
Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home with both individuals at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
Family dynamics can be complicated at any stage of life. We are here to help you and your family navigate difficult times, explore communication barriers, and grow together. We help to nurture change and development of any family and strengthen your communication, your structure, and your bond.
Struggling with an issue can be a very lonely and isolating feeling. Group therapy is a structured environment that is constructed of a small group of individuals with similar struggles. The purpose of group therapy is to grow as individuals in a group setting by connecting with and relating to others and learning to find your voice through different perspectives.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression and anxiety disorders.
EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to focus briefly on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes showing EMDR therapy as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences (Maxfield, 2019). EMDR therapy has even been superior to Prozac in trauma treatment (Van der Kolk et al., 2007). Shapiro and Forrest (2016) share that more than 7 million people have been treated successfully by 110,000 therapists in 130 countries since 2016. (https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/)
The Gottman Method is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple’s relationship, and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory. The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.
When we feel disconnected from the people we care about, life is a lonely place. The 5 Love Languages® is a simple and effective way to strengthen your connections, so you can experience greater joy and harmony in all of your relationships.
Solution-focused therapy is a goal-directed collaborative approach to psychotherapeutic change that is conducted through direct observation of clients' responses to a series of precisely constructed questions.

No insurance? No problem. We offer the option for self-pay at a fair market rate. All you need is a credit card on file and we will bill you the morning of your appointment. You will never have to worry about getting a bill in the mail.
This works much like the 'no insurance' option above, but with this feature you will receive what's called a SuperBill after payment is received from you, the client. You will then submit the SuperBill to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Clients who are self-pay are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate Notice, which is required to comply with the No Surprises Act. The Act requires providers to inform their uninsured and private pay patients that they have a right to a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed.
Life can get in the way sometimes, which we all understand. We ask that you cancel your appointment 24 hours or more in advance. Our policy is that if a client does not call to cancel or reschedule, and does not attend their appointment, they will be charged the full session fee to their credit card on file at the self-pay rate. For late cancellations (less than 24 hours advance notice), a fee of $100 will be charged to the credit card on file.
At this time we are not accepting the following insurance plans: Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, Medicaid of Minnesota, Medicaid of North Dakota, or Tricare.
